Your dominant hues are green and blue. You're smart and you know it, and want to use your power to help people and relate to others. Even though you tend to battle with yourself, you solve other people's conflicts well. Finishing projects may sometimes be a challenge, but you schedule time as you see fit and the important things all happen in the end, even if not everyone sees your grand master plan. - What single food on the Thanksgiving dinner menu did you most look forward to?
Must be the stuffed turkey (since we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here). I saw my (Indonesian) friend had smoked turkey for Thanksgiving with her family in the U.S. on her FaceBook and I was drooled over the picture..... Tim's Thanksgiving meals were also so tempting! - What single food was your least favorite?
Must be something with loads of veggies since I don't really like them. - How many plates of food did you eat? Did you take the big nap afterwards?
You'll be amazed how someone like me can REALLY eat a lot! I don't sleep after taking meals, it would be bad for my tummy. - Take the quiz: What holiday food are you?
You Are a Fruitcake People pretend you're sweet and precious, but they know how weird you really are!
- What dessert item did you most enjoy from the big feast? Who made it?
I don't really like sweet stuff, no matter who made it :) - How many meals of leftovers did you bring home?
I'd bring as much as the host gives me. Hehe,
What are your favorite Thanksgiving traditions? Anything you're not so fond of?
-
Turkey and the Trimmings
Surprisingly, there is no real evidence of turkey being served at the first Thanksgiving feasts in the early 17th century. Apparently, "turkey" was the generic name to describe all fowl. Venison pops up in many historical accounts of the holiday as well as corn, boiled pumpkin, berries, and, possibly shellfish. Most still incorporate pumpkins in the traditional pie and berries in the form of cranberry sauce with their modern holiday meal. - Indian Corn
Hanging multi-colored corn with husks attached on our doors is a custom that reminds us how important corn was to the survival of early colonists. That's a big reason to give thanks! Many Native American Indians, who helped pilgrims plant corn crops, believed the grain to be divine. Corn has long been associated with harvest festival as many ancient cultures celebrated in the fall by honoring gods of corn. Greeks worshipped, Demeter, the goddess of grains and Romans celebrated Ceres, goddess of corn. - Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
Just about every American turns on the television to see the enormous floating balloons in The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Since 1927, New Yorkers flock to the streets to see grand characters fly through the air and many gather the night before to watch the process of inflating the balloons. - Thanksgiving Day Football
For some people, a holiday where football is the focus is their most prized of all. 11 years after Lincoln declared Thanksgiving a holiday the first intercollegiate football game was played. Soon after the Northeast Intercollegiate Football Association was formed with the championship game scheduled to take place on Thanksgiving Day. Since the late 19th century Princeton and Yale have played each other almost every holiday. The tradition caught on quickly and today many college and pro teams spend the day on the gridiron and their fans spend the day in front of the tube.
If I celebrated Thanksgiving, I'd love the food the most and I'd be very happy if I could just skip the football part as I'm not interested in any kind of sports..... Oh, I wouldn't like to meet up with my relatives, too - especially the nosy and the annoying ones! :)

What's your decor style?
BACK TO NATURE
There's nothing quaintly countrified when it comes drawing inspiration from nature. You have an almost elemental approach to interior design, certainly in terms of colour, texture (and above all) materials. It takes guts to pull off the look: you not only see the beauty in wild flowers but in field grasses and the rawness of scrubland too.
Living Room
Bedroom
It's a man's world in the master bedroom. Sleep is fundamentally important to our well being. Clean, fresh air can truly aid sleep, but so, too, does a well-made bed and the best mattress you can afford. Touch is an important issue in the bedroom, from crisp, linen sheets to wool or even sheepskin underfoot. You have quite a masculine - some might say hard - style in your bedroom, using cool pastel blues and greens to create a fresh but restful sense of calm.
Dining Room
You're a modern maverick, a supremely elegant entertainer. At home, you have a fresh, contemporary dining style that is versatile and achievable on almost any budget. Keeping the basics simple, try using colour or picking something a bit unusual to add character and to give the dining area some definition. Good design and quality materials can really lift a place setting. When it comes to entertaining, you like good, freshly made food with an informal touch.
Home Office
Your home office is formal and sober. These days, almost all of us have a home office: a desk and a chair in one corner of the living room with adjustable task lighting and adequate filing is all it takes. Clean, simple lines and an absence of clutter suit the home office very well - but don't neglect to introduce an element of your own personality to the space, even if it's nothing more than a favourite photograph in an elegant frame.
Conclusion
Your home is a canny combination of styles and references: the log cabin but also the tree house, the hermit's retreat, but also the childhood den.
Another quiz, stolen from [Susan]:
Your style is Folksy Country.
You don’t like things to be too matching. You acquire your furniture and accessories over the course of time. You like pattern and solids and can mix them well. You love flea markets and can find a place for just about anything you find or buy. You like animals and probably have a dog or cat or both. You make people feel at home and relaxed. You have lots of knick-knacks. When you entertain you have many friends and family over -- they feel they can pop over at anytime. Your decorating challenge is to simplify and edit your accessories.
