I didn't get stuck in the middle when I read this book as I even haven't read it and maybe I won't read it. I bought and watched the DVD not long after I bought the book and after that I don't feel like reading it anymore. I don't even like the movie, even though it got some great reviews everywhere during that time :)

That's my favorite book ever!! The book doesn't even compare to the movie.

I tried to finish The Alchemist 3 times and just never could get through it..maybe if there was I movie I would watch it?
