Still Sad, I Feel

Comments

I'm looking at photos of your photos titled, "Self-Portrait" and I see a beautiful woman. I don't know of course, what your lovely mother looked like, but why would you compare your beauty to anyone else's beauty? Beauty is so personal. And it comes from many factors. Have you ever met someone who seemed so physically lovely at first, but as as time wore on, seemed less so as you got to know the person? Or what about people who seem ordinary-looking at first, but then just get more glowingly beautiful as you see their personalities unfold? I know a woman who captured the heart of one of the most physically perfect men I know. She was not only not as beautiful' as he, she had a skin condition which was very evident. This is true. But when she walked into a room, in moments you forgot all this, because it was like she brought the sun in with her with her delightful laugh, her self-confidence and her charming, loving personality. Her physically -perfect husband worshipped her, never cheated on her and they are married happily to this day, more than thirty years later. There are many ways to develop physical beauty today. Part of that is through science, but a bigger part is through the goodness of the soul.
[this is good]
@ Patricia: Many thanks for the encouragement :) It's very true, and also thanks for lifting up my spirit, and boosting my self-confidence!
