QotD: Won't You Be My Neighbor?

These pictures were taken today at 20:00. As you can see, there's almost no one get around. They either stay in the house or go out. In weekdays, the neighborhood is more quite. Most of them are working couples that leave the house early in the morning, and come back home late at night. It's easier to find stray cats on the street than my neighbors :)

I know almost nothing about my neighbors. We care for our own business. The only neighbor I talk to every now and then is the middle-aged man who lives alone next door. He doesn't talk much too and he mostly spends his time taking care of his bonsais and Koi fishes. We (he, his nephew, Dad and I) once went to Church together last year on Good Friday. He's the only Christian in the neighborhood, I think.

During Ramadan, it's harder to find human beings around as most of them go back to their hometowns to spend the holiday with their relatives.

This is a perfect place for me and my Dad. We both don't like socializing and we'd feel disturbed if "strangers" "care" too much about us ;) I know more of my neighbors' dogs' name than my neighbors' name :D My dogs, especially Cupcake, have more friends here in Bintaro than us. My maid is good in making friends here, though. And it annoys me sometimes because they can be so noisy when they hang out together in the afternoon.
