He filleted several of these for me, and I fried them up, along with some homemade hush puppies.  I even made some homemade tartar sauce.  Delicious!  The rest are all frozen for another time.  We're planning to go back to the same lake Monday after Christmas.  Can't wait!

I don't know how I missed the fact that Oral Roberts died last week.  I mostly know the televangelist from the controversy that occurred in 1987 when Roberts revealed that Jesus was holding him for ransom.  During a fundraising drive, he stated that if he didn't raise $8 million by March, God would "call him home."  People laughed, but Roberts raised the money and didn't die, thereby proving that he was right.

The awesome folks at Star Clipper Comics in the U City Loop gave me permission to photograph their lovely collection of adoptable-to-the-public Ugly Dolls.

My hubby bought me an awesome pair of boots the other day. I was so happy. I nearly cried! When I worked for myself, made my own money, and was unattached, I spent my money on my car payment, movies, and a few other things that I wanted. I never really thought about the shoes on my feet. I never looked into what Christian Louboutin specials I could get my hands on. I am glad that my husband thinks about everything, not just what we have to do as a married couple, but everything down to my very feet. Thanks again, hubs!!!

In Sacre Coeur, i bumped into a bunch of beautiful children munching their lunches of mouth watering sandwiches by the dried fountain, exchanging gossips.

They breathed happiness into my heart.

Squirrelio's Golden Apple Grabbin'  and hot doggin' needed a stoppin' so Pig invited Cow and Precious Pig to The Corn Dog Show Down.

And just like Pig knew she would, Squirrelio went for the take down.

But no matter how she tried and tried, Squirrelio couldn't make the pull down.

And no matter how she shook and shook, Squirrelio couldn't make the shake down.

So giving into last resorts, Squirrelio settled for the bite down.

It wasn't long before Squirrelio made the break down.

And longer less before Squirrelio did the smack down.

Then came back again for the run down.

So she could perfect the stare down.

Until satisfied of staring and long past caring...

Squirrelio finally did the sit down.
